Opening Ceremonies

Join us Friday, July 31, 2026 in the Lennox Agricultural Society Office at 7:00 p.m. for the opening ceremonies.

Baby Show

Baby Show 0-6 months begins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2026 in the Lennox Agricultural Society Office. 


0-6 Months:

1. Child and caregiver look alike

2. Grandparents pride and joy

3. The loudest laugh or giggle

4. Judges choice


Baby Show 7-12 months follows at 11:00 a.m. 


7-12 Months:

1. Child and caregiver look alike

2. Grandparents pride and joy

Napanee Has Talent

Beginning at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026 in the Palace. 


Welcome to the Napanee Fair Has Talent Contest! We are in our 13th year of hosting our talent contest, which is open to everyone to audition for! Each performer will be given the opportunity to do 2 songs or performance lasting 5 minutes. Performers are asked to have all music required to perform. The final event will take place on Friday, July 31 at the Napanee Fair in the Palace!


How to Audition:

Send in your audition video to napaneefairhastalent@gmail.com 

We will be receiving auditions May 1st-July 2nd. Those chosen to move on will be notified after this date. 


Categories for our Final Talent Contest:

-12 and under

-13-17 years old

-Open


Prizes will be awarded and one lucky winner will receive the opportunity to record at Forever Young Studios! Check our Facebook page for more information! It's time to show us your talent!

Children's Pet Show

Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 2:00 pm in the Palace. 


Registration will be from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm in the Palace. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old. Dogs and cats must be on a leash or in a carrier. Exhibitors with other small pets are encouraged to bring a carrier of some kind to contain the pet between classes. All pets must be under control, well behaved and have their shots. The event is open to ages 16 and under. While adults are allowed to assist a child, they are not permitted to show a pet for the child. Pit Bulls are not allowed to be exhibited.

Entertainment

Country Music- Saturday, August 2, 2025 in the Palace


Dieter Boehme- 7:30 pm

Dieter Boehme, a popular local entertainer, country music singer and recording personality, has appeared on the Tommy Hunter Show and performed with Merle Haggard and George Jones. 


Wendy Lynn Snider Band- 8:00 pm

An award winning performer and recording artist from St. Catherines, Wendy is a Classic Country Music Entertainer. Recently won Country Group of the Year at the Niagara Music Awards. 

Clydesdale Power "King & Queen of Strength"

Takes place on Sunday, August 1, 2026 beginning at 1:00 p.m. and finishing at 4:00 p.m.

Ambassador Program

The perfect way to help youth develop their communication and leadership skills, build self-confidence and become community leaders!


Eligibility Requirements:

  • 17 – 22 years of age for Senior Ambassador open to all 
  • 13-16 years of age for Junior Ambassador open to all 


  • Must be available during the 2026 Napanee Fair weekend as well as the Friday of the 2027 Fair to assist with the incoming Ambassador ceremony


  • Senior Ambassador must be willing to attend the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies (OAAS) Ambassador Program February 2027 (details to follow)- opportunity to also attend the CNE Ambassador of the Fairs Leadership program available to you the following August. 


  • Lennox Agricultural Society events/appearances and volunteer opportunities. 


  • Attend spring/fall District 3 meetings, our own AGM meeting in January, and our June & July board meeting leading to next fair. 


This is a sponsorship program through the Lennox Agricultural Society investing in our youth. Through guidance, networking and gained knowledge from various experiences while being a part of the Lennox Agricultural Society.


Senior Ambassador shall receive $600 sponsorship + cost of attending the OAAS Convention. Junior Ambassador shall receive $400 sponsorship. 


Judging criteria to be considerate of: Personality, enthusiasm, appearance, engagement, community knowledge including history of the Napanee Fair and involvement within the community. Judging will happen at 5:#0pm on opening night of the fair and announced at our opening ceremonies at 7pm.
